It is of one year duration (Annual pattern) and the one year covers the following modules
Trade Theory
(Comprising of Basic components & Advanced components of trade practice and theory)
Engineering Technology
(Comprising of workshop calculations & Science and Engg.Drawing)
Training Methodology
Comprising of teaching practice and Principles of teaching)

How to Apply
Admission into above trades are made through all India common entrance examination. Application for the same are invited through the advertisement in Employment News/regional newspapers during the month of June of every year.
Entrance Examination Fee
Rs. 300/- for General Category, Rs. 100/- for SC / ST candidates
Eligibility for Admission
NCVT certificate in relevant trade or Diploma / Degree from recognized Board of Technical Education /University or equivalent Preference is given to the candidates deputed by Govt. / Pvt. ITI sponsored by State Govt.. However, private candidates with above requisite are also consider for admission subject to the availability of seats, on order or merit.
Agelimit : Minimum 18 years, No upper age limit
Admission & Award ofcertificate
Candidate has to secure 60% marks in Theory and practical (inInternal examinations) and also an 80 % attendance. On possessing above requisite candidates will be allowed to appear for final examination conducted by NCVT, New Delhi in Jul every year. And on passing the prescribed exam in each semester, trainees will be awarded with Instructor training Certificate from NCVT.
